Manganese ore rotary kiln is a kind of equipment with rotating cylinder and high temperature gas injection inside. When the manganese ore powder or lump passes through the rotary kiln, under the action of high temperature oxidizing atmosphere, the manganese compounds inside the manganese ore will be gradually reduced with the flow of high temperature gas to form manganese monomers and complete the transformation of the ore. At the same time, through the rotation of the rotary cylinder, the contact area between the internal gas and the ore and the heat transfer efficiency are improved, thus increasing the speed and efficiency of ore conversion.
The structure of manganese ore rotary kiln is relatively simple, mainly including the cylinder, drum and drive mechanism and other parts. The barrel is mostly made of steel plate, and the inner wall is covered with high refractory material to ensure the service life under high temperature oxidizing atmosphere. The drum is assembled inside the barrel and driven by the drive mechanism to rotate the barrel.
The overall structure of manganese ore rotary kiln is compact, covering a small area, and easy to operate and maintain.
Manganese ore rotary kiln is widely used in the production process of high temperature calcination, sintering and hardening of manganese ore. In manganese smelting, manganese ore rotary kiln can be used for reduction, sintering and desulfurization of ferromanganese and vegetal manganese ore. In mine beneficiation production, rotary kiln can also be used for roasting and sintering of manganese ore to improve the grade and purification efficiency of manganese ore.
Through optimized design and improvement, manganese ore rotary kiln can also be used for processing and extraction of other metal minerals, such as copper, iron, aluminum, etc.
